Keeping you safe

Although many covid restrictions are lifting from the 12 April, we want our experience to be as covid-secure as possible for our visitors. Numbers in each session are limited so you won’t have to queue to ride and won’t be surrounded by a crowd. With a maximum of 10 riders and up to 20 spectators in each session, you can enjoy the fair in a covid-secure environment.

Our mini funfair is an open-air experience and rides will be regularly cleaned in between use. Hand sanitiser is supplied, and visitors are asked to wear a mask when they enter and exit. (Masks are not required on the rides)

Our staff will be wearing protective equipment and will maintain their distance. We have a one-way entry and exit system from the site, and we are asking all visitors to leave their contact details with us.

Please maintain social distancing around the site.

For that extra peace of mind, we are part of Visit England’s ‘We’re Good to Go’ Industry Standard. This means our experience meets the government and public health guidance on COVID-19 and that we have all the required health and safety processes in place to safely open.

Please remember to postpone your visit if you or anyone from your household displays any symptoms of COVID-19. We’ll be ready to welcome you when you’re feeling better.

How does the Mini Funfair experience work?

You will need to choose your session by selecting a day, your preferred time slot and which Adventure best suits the ages of your children. Each session costs £11.95 per rider and they can be accompanied by two non-riding spectators. If you want to ride alongside with your children on the larger rides, please book an Adventure ticket for yourself too.

A member of the Carters team will greet you at the entrance at the beginning of your Adventure- please arrive 5 minutes before your start time. You will then be guided around the rides in a set order. At the end of your visit, you can have a go on the Hook-a-Duck and take home a prize.

Refreshments, Pic ‘N’ Mix and candy floss will be available to purchase on the day.

All Mini Fair Experiences must be booked online before you arrive at the fair.

How many people can come ?

Each experience has space for 10 riders. It is not an exclusive hire experience: riders can be from different households. If you are a family of four and your two children want to ride, then book two Adventure experiences. Other people can book the remaining places in that timeslot – you do not need to find ten riders to make your booking.
