“It’s a great day out with broad appeal.
It’s one of those rare activities that has something for everyone, big kids, little kids, history buffs and photographers alike. The ‘Road Run’ is something that everyone can enjoy watching, and it’s free for all to enjoy. My daughter loved hearing the trucks sound their horn and my two year old loved seeing the enormous trucks go past his buggy.
It’s even more special knowing they are a Maidenhead based business – it’s a family tradition in our house now!”

“Carters are a family run business and it really is a lovely fair with beautifully restored rides from the 1890s to the 1960s. My Mum commented on how it really does feel like ‘how the fair used to be!’ The old-fashioned music and bright coloured rides make for a wonderful (if not slightly overstimulating for a toddler) atmosphere! There are a great selection of rides for all ages.
The staff are all so friendly and approachable which we’ve found is often not the case at other fairs we’ve visited.”

“I am a huge fan of Carters so when they are around, we will surely show up. I remember the first time we went about 6 years ago, as a date with my future husband. It’s still one of my favourite memories of the period when we started to go out. I was totally blown away as a vintage lover: the perfect condition of these wonderful vintage rides, seemingly much loved, restored and running by people who care. I just love everything about it: it’s suitable for all ages, the loud rockabilly music playing everywhere, the friendly ride attendants and all the tiny details of it! “
