The african jungle cork shooter

Bag yourself a sweet prize with your cork-shooting rifle!

The Cork Shooter was built before the war by the father of showman Noah Shaw of Watford, along with its sister stall the Balla. The circular painting on the front was originally done by Carters Steam Fairs founder John Carter, one of the few paintings he ever painted on the fair.

Who can play, and what does it cost?

The Cork Shooter costs 1 token for 1 shot, 5 tokens for 6 shots, 8 tokens for 12, or 10 tokens for 15 shots and is suitable for people of any age.

Coronavirus update

Following the latest advice from the UK government and Public Health England, we are reviewing our upcoming 2020 tour dates. We’re very disappointed that we can’t bring the fun of the fair to you all but we hope to see you soon in 2020 when things settle down.

We will be monitoring the situation and we will update you weekly on our social media, or as soon as the situation changes. You can also find the latest information about our 2020 tour in our blog post which we will keep updated.

Thanks for all your patience while we work through these unpredictable times.

Joby, Georgina and the Carters Team.
